The Newness (August 29, 2001)

First, I wanna give a shout-out to Stephani_Rolento who sent me some cool, cool Rolento artwork this weekend! Truth be told, that was best thing that happened to me all weekend. Since somebody finally sent me some art, I'm gonna get to work on an Art Section for this site now.

If things go well (which is usually NOT), next payday I'll have a CD burner! Why should you care? I'm not sure, but it'll manifest itself eventually...

Well, in the animation section, I've added some stuff, including the infamous Castlevania Skull Cannon. I'm writing this pretty early, so even I don't know all of what's new at this point. Just this and that for now.

SNK v.s. Capcom 2 Alert!!!

The webmaster at that cool, cool site, Street Fighter Legends, has started an online petition to make sure that SNK vs Capcom for the Dreamcast makes it to the United States and Europe. See, so far, we may not get to play the 2-D goodness for ourselves. That ain't right! Sign the petition, don't use a fake name/address, and be a patriot! It doesn't take that long at all and remember, if this succeeds, it'll be a victory for 2-D games in general. FIGHT THE POWER!!! Remember:" If something is yours by right, then fight for it or shut up." (I can't remember who said that originally) Just click the banner below and read for the petition on the front screen.

I've been making custom "SNK v.s. Capcom card battle" cards of some real life people I know and I might add a page to show 'em off. Also, I've got one in the works for one of my favorite Capcom characters that will definitely see the light of day. There'll be more, so stay tuned if you like that sort of thing.

ToyBoss, the section where I show off video game figures (including my custom ones) WILL RETURN. I'll get a cheap digital camera for now until I can afford a good one. My Bionic Commando figure needs some touching up, but will be on hand for the welcome back party. He won't be alone. Heh-heh.

On my "To do" list is coming up with a way to make the Music Test feature be cool and almost like a video game option screen. That's also what's holding that up (not to mention the fact that I don't have net access or a CD burner). There are so many places where you can get video game sound effects that I doubt that I'll even put the Sound Test feature up here.

I've also gotta finish some of those S-File pictures. Until I do, you'll see the simple, poot-butt version of the art or a screenshot. Sorry.

It must be some unofficial Castlevania day for the site or something. I'll have enough to do a Castlevania saga soon... "Clint Eastwood" by the Gorillaz is the joint! Is that Del tha funky homosapien doin' the rap on that? I could swear that's the leader of the Hiero squad himself... Maybe if I keep letting people p*$$ me off, I'll start glowing red and become invincible for a few seconds... it'll probably be soon... I wonder: what kind of jack@#$ is so triflin' that after his best friend dies and replaces him with a rapper that sounds just like him, then follows that up with a rapper that sounds just like ANOTHER rapper that left your group about a year ago? A very SPECIAL jack@#$... I ask again, how much f#$%ing phlegm can one person have?!?!? Guess I can't eat 'til tomorrow... lookin' at that Castlevania logo I redid just makes me wanna do some more. I think I will, but I just won't tell people where they are;) muhuhahaha... Still need a site counter... Still need to figure out why the page leading to my guestbook doesn't wanna save right... I wonder if a GOOD game will come out for the JLA cartoon? A game with Martian Manhunter and a REAL Green Lantern (no Punk Lanterns allowed, yo) would kick much buttock... If you want to see how cool a Street Fighter movie could be, watch the kung fu movie called "Storm Riders" based on the Jademan comic. Sword Saint was the man... while I'm at it, peep "Last Hurrah for Chivalry." Wait 'til you see who directed it... Okay, back to work. I'll catch you on the next shot...

Bomberman fans know this as a provider of more exploding goodness. Here, it will soon be in the main menu as an alert to new or updated items.
Just in case all you Castlevania fans thought that I was sleeping on your favorite game series, I worked my butt off to redo the Castlevania 1 Logo. Eventually, I want to do at least slightly hyped up versions of legendary games and we all know that Castlevania deserves it.
